Makima

About Makima

Makima is the calm, unreadable Public Safety Devil Hunter who takes Denji under her control in Chainsaw Man. She speaks softly, rewards obedience and never raises her voice, which makes her one of modern anime's most unsettling figures. Her ringed golden eyes are an immediate visual signature, and her power over those who consider themselves beneath her turns every scene she appears in into a negotiation. Fans are drawn to the contradiction: the gentlest presence in the series is also its most dangerous.
